Green Mango Recovery Smoothie
This smoothie supports post-workout recovery with anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and protein-rich ingredients. Chlorella and hemp seeds provide plant protein, mango replenishes glycogen, and spinach adds iron. Vitamin C from mango and lime supports collagen production.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 2 cups baby spinach
- 1 cup coconut water, or fresh orange juice
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon almond butter
- 1 teaspoon honey, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon chlorella
- 1 tablespoon lime juice (from ½ lime)
DIRECTIONS
- Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender.
- Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Serve immediately.
Note:
- Coconut water can be substituted with fresh orange juice.
- Start with 1 teaspoon of chlorella and increase to 2 teaspoons if tolerated.
